Show Low is the commercial center of Arizona’s White Mountains, a high country of ponderosa pine, meadows and lakes on the Mogollon Rim at roughly 6,300 feet. According to local legend, the town takes its name from a card game in which the low draw won the land, and its main street is still called Deuce of Clubs.
