How can we help?
Everything about flying with Littlebird, from your first search to the day you fly. Looking for a quick answer? See all frequently asked questions.
Getting started
What Littlebird is and how booking a private flight works.
What is Littlebird?
Littlebird is an on-demand private charter service flying Cirrus aircraft (Cirrus SR20 and Cirrus Vision Jet) direct between regional airports, with instant online pricing. It is a DBA of Jetvia, a FAR Part 135 operator flying charter since 1985.
How booking a flight works
Search two airports, a date and your party size, pick an aircraft from the live prices, add your passengers and pay online. Some trips confirm instantly; others are confirmed by our team before you're charged.
Instant booking vs. request to book
Trips 24 hours to 90 days out can be booked instantly and are confirmed at checkout. Other trips are requests: your card is saved, and you're charged only when our team confirms.
Pricing and saving money
What's in the price, and how to fly for less.
How our pricing works
You pay one all-in price for the whole airplane. It covers the flight time, any repositioning to and from your airports, applicable fees and federal taxes, all shown line by line before you pay.
Ways to save on your flight
Fly between home bases within a service area, be flexible by a few hours or a day, use a nearby airport, and fill the seats: the price is for the whole airplane.
Aircraft and safety
Our Cirrus fleet, the parachute on every aircraft, our pilots and who operates your flight.
Our fleet: Cirrus SR Series and Vision Jet
Littlebird flies an all-Cirrus fleet: Cirrus SR20 and Cirrus Vision Jet. Pick the aircraft for your mission: the SR Series for efficient regional trips, the Vision Jet to go farther, faster and higher.
Safety: the parachute on every aircraft
Every Littlebird aircraft, piston or jet, carries the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), which lowers the entire aircraft to the ground in an emergency. It has been credited with saving hundreds of lives.
Our pilots and training
Every Littlebird pilot is a professional charter pilot with at least 1,200 flight hours, Part 135 indoctrination training and a standardized Cirrus training program, plus recurrent training and check rides.
Who operates my flight? (FAA Part 135)
All Littlebird flights are operated under the respective FAA Part 135 certificates of Jetvia and our partners, which keep operational control of every flight. Your booking names the operator.
