Our pilots and training
Every Littlebird pilot is a professional charter pilot with at least 1,200 flight hours, Part 135 indoctrination training and a standardized Cirrus training program, plus recurrent training and check rides.
A great airplane deserves a great pilot. Everyone who flies for Littlebird is a professional charter pilot trained to the same standard before they ever fly a passenger.
- 1,200+ flight hours minimum: the experience the FAA requires to captain a charter flight in instrument conditions.
- Part 135 indoctrination training: company procedures and the Part 135 rules we fly under.
- Standardized Cirrus training: a program built for charter operations, so every flight is flown the same disciplined way.
- Ongoing: recurrent training and check rides on the schedule Part 135 requires.
