Things to do in Stuart

Stuart calls itself the Sailfish Capital of the World, and it backs up the name. The Gulf Stream runs close to shore off Martin County, putting sailfish within a short run of St. Lucie Inlet, and the St. Lucie and Indian rivers make the area one of Florida's great boating communities. Marinas, boatyards and marine businesses line the waterfront, and many visitors arrive to fish, shop for a boat or keep one here for the season.
