Marsh Harbour is the commercial center of the Abacos, a chain of islands and cays in the northern Bahamas settled by Loyalists after the American Revolution. It is the place to provision, see the bank and catch a ferry, and its harbor is the main base for the yacht charter companies that work the Sea of Abaco, a sheltered stretch of shallow, turquoise water protected by a line of barrier cays.
