Things to do in Hot Springs

Hot Springs grew up around thermal water flowing from the side of Hot Springs Mountain, and for decades it was one of the country’s great spa towns, attracting presidents, ballplayers and gangsters alike. The city’s economy centers on tourism, healthcare and retirees, with the thoroughbred racing and gaming at Oaklawn, the lakes of the Ouachita Mountains and boyhood ties to Bill Clinton all drawing visitors.
