Things to do in Canton

Canton is where the National Football League was born in 1920, and today it is best known as home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, whose enshrinement festivities draw fans from every NFL city each summer. The city also carries a long industrial history: Timken, the bearings and power transmission company, is headquartered in North Canton, steel is still produced in the area and manufacturing remains a major employer across Stark County. Canton was also the hometown of President William McKinley, whose memorial and presidential library stand on a hill above town.
