Harbour Island is a small island off the northeast coast of Eleuthera, about three miles long and best known for the soft pink sand of its Atlantic beach. Dunmore Town, one of the oldest settlements in the Bahamas, faces the calm harbor side with clapboard cottages, picket fences and bougainvillea, and residents and visitors get around by golf cart.
