Things to do in Idaho Falls

Idaho Falls is the commercial center of eastern Idaho, located on the Snake River and best known as the home of Idaho National Laboratory, the country’s leading nuclear energy research lab. The lab and its contractors bring a steady stream of scientists, engineers and federal officials to town, alongside healthcare, agriculture and potato processing. A wide, man-made waterfall on the Snake gives the city its name, and the greenbelt along both banks makes downtown a pleasant place to walk.
