Things to do in Manchester

Manchester grew up around the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company, whose brick mills along the Merrimack River once made up one of the largest textile operations in the world. Today the restored Millyard holds technology companies, a university campus, startups and the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute, and the city is New Hampshire’s largest and its center for healthcare, finance, insurance and professional services. Its role in the first-in-the-nation presidential primary also brings a steady flow of political visitors every four years.
