Rochester is home to Mayo Clinic, one of the most respected medical centers in the world, and the clinic shapes nearly everything about the city. Rochester International Airport has limited airline service, and Minneapolis–Saint Paul International is about an hour and a half away by car, a drive that can be tiring for patients after a procedure.
