Things to do in Rome

Rome was built on seven hills where the Etowah and Oostanaula rivers join to form the Coosa, and it remains the commercial and medical center of northwest Georgia. Healthcare is a major employer, with two hospitals and a large physician group, along with manufacturing and a growing number of industrial employers along the region’s highways. The city is also home to Berry College, whose campus is one of the largest in the world by area, and Shorter University.
