Things to do in Park City

Park City was a silver-mining boomtown in the late 1800s and reinvented itself as a ski destination, hosting events at the 2002 Winter Olympics. Today it is home to Park City Mountain, one of the largest ski resorts in the United States, and Deer Valley, known for its groomed slopes and upscale service. Tourism, real estate and second homes drive the economy, and many residents commute to or run businesses in Salt Lake City, just over Parleys Summit.
