Things to do in Walla Walla

Walla Walla is a small agricultural city in the southeast corner of Washington that has become one of the country’s most celebrated wine regions. More than a hundred wineries and tasting rooms are spread across the Walla Walla Valley, which crosses into Oregon, from downtown storefronts to former World War II buildings at the airport and estate vineyards in the surrounding hills. Wheat, the famous Walla Walla sweet onion, Whitman College, a regional medical center and the state penitentiary round out an economy with deep roots in farming and education.
