Millville is a South Jersey city on the Maurice River, known for generations as the Holly City and as a center of American glassmaking. Its glass factories once made bottles and scientific glassware for the whole country, and that tradition lives on at WheatonArts and in the Glasstown Arts District downtown. Today the economy includes manufacturing, health care, agriculture and distribution in Cumberland County, along with New Jersey Motorsports Park, a road course complex that draws racing clubs, driving schools and members from across the Northeast.

Millville is far from the state’s population centers, about an hour from Philadelphia and longer from New York, and much of the drive is on two-lane roads through farm country. Its airport sits right beside the motorsports park, so flying private puts you a short walk or drive from the paddock, which makes a track day or race weekend easy to plan. The airport also has its own history as a World War II fighter pilot training field. Beyond the track, visitors find quiet Delaware Bay beaches, birding, kayaking and quick access to Cape May.
