Private charter to & from Ely

Ely is a historic copper-mining town in eastern Nevada and the seat of White Pine County, where the Nevada Northern Railway still runs restored steam trains from its preserved early-1900s rail yard. Mining remains important to the local economy, along with ranching, government and tourism, and the town’s remote location along U.S. 50, known as the Loneliest Road in America, adds to its character. The surrounding valleys and ranges are among the least crowded landscapes in the lower 48, which is exactly what draws many visitors.

Ely is about four hours from Las Vegas and Salt Lake City by car, so flying private into Ely Airport saves a long drive and makes a weekend trip practical. From Ely, Great Basin National Park is about an hour away, offering bristlecone pines, Lehman Caves and Wheeler Peak. Visitors come for the railroad, hiking and stargazing under some of the darkest skies in the United States, and fishing and camping in the surrounding mountains and state parks.
