Private charter to & from Roanoke

Roanoke is the largest city in western Virginia and grew up as a railroad town, once home to the Norfolk and Western Railway and its shops. Today healthcare leads the economy, with Carilion Clinic headquartered here and the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine downtown, alongside manufacturing, transportation and logistics. The Roanoke Valley is ringed by the Blue Ridge and Allegheny mountains, and the city has worked hard to promote itself as an outdoor destination, with greenways, mountain biking and access to the Appalachian Trail.

Roanoke is about four hours from Washington and three from Charlotte by car, and the airline schedule from Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport is limited. Flying private makes it easy for physicians, executives and families to reach the region and return on their own schedule. Visitors come to hike McAfee Knob and other Appalachian Trail summits, drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, which passes right by the city, and spend time on Smith Mountain Lake. Downtown offers the Taubman Museum of Art, a historic market and a growing restaurant and brewery scene.
