Private charter to & from Lihue

Lihue is the county seat of Kauai and the island’s commercial center, home to its main airport, Nawiliwili Harbor and the government offices, shopping and hospitals that serve the whole island. The town grew up around sugar plantations, and that heritage remains visible at sites such as Kilohana and Grove Farm. Tourism now drives most of the economy, along with agriculture, the Pacific Missile Range Facility on the west side and a population of second-home owners drawn by the island’s rural, unhurried character.

Kauai is the oldest and most northerly of the main islands, separated from Oahu by a broad channel, and the only way to get here quickly is by air. Flying private from Honolulu or another island lets you arrive when it suits you, land minutes from the resorts of the east side and Poipu, and avoid connecting at the busiest airports. From Lihue, the island’s single coastal highway leads north toward Hanalei and Princeville and west toward Waimea Canyon. Visitors come for the dramatic cliffs of the Na Pali Coast, river kayaking, hiking, quiet beaches and a pace of life that feels decades removed from Waikiki.
