Klamath Falls sits at the southern end of Upper Klamath Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Oregon, on the sunny east side of the Cascades near the California line. Agriculture, ranching, timber, healthcare and education anchor the economy, with Oregon Tech and the Oregon Air National Guard’s training base at Kingsley Field among the largest institutions.
