Ligonier is a small town in the Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania, built around a historic town square, or Diamond, with shops, restaurants and a gazebo at its center. When to go. Summer is busy with resort stays, golf and Ohiopyle rafting, along with Idlewild’s season.
