Private charter to & from New Hope

New Hope is a small river town on the Delaware in Bucks County, linked by a bridge to Lambertville, New Jersey, and known since the early twentieth century as home to an art colony of Pennsylvania Impressionist painters. Today its main streets are lined with galleries, antique shops, restaurants and inns, and the surrounding countryside is full of stone farmhouses, country estates and horse farms owned by families from New York and Philadelphia. The local economy runs on tourism, the arts and second homes.

New Hope is within reach of both New York and Philadelphia, but the drive from Manhattan can take two hours or more in traffic, and the river roads are narrow and slow. Flying private into nearby Trenton-Mercer or Doylestown Airport cuts out most of that drive and makes a weekend at a country house or inn far easier. Visitors walk or bike the Delaware Canal towpath, watch shows at the Bucks County Playhouse, visit Washington Crossing Historic Park and explore the restaurants and antique shops of Lambertville and the villages of the Delaware Valley.
