Private charter to & from Erie

Erie is Pennsylvania’s only port on the Great Lakes, a manufacturing city on Lake Erie whose economy has long included locomotives, plastics, metal parts and insurance, with Erie Insurance headquartered downtown. Health care, higher education at Gannon University, Penn State Behrend and Mercyhurst, and tourism round out the local economy. The city also has deep naval history, as the place where Oliver Hazard Perry’s fleet was built for the War of 1812.

Erie sits in Pennsylvania’s northwest corner, about two hours by car from Pittsburgh and Cleveland and more than six from Philadelphia, and airline service is limited. Flying private makes it easy to connect Erie with other manufacturing centers, insurance offices and suppliers and return home the same day. Leisure travelers come in summer for Presque Isle State Park, a sandy peninsula with miles of beaches, as well as Waldameer amusement park, wineries along the lakeshore and the Erie Maritime Museum. The region is also a gateway to the Lake Erie wine country stretching into New York.
