Private charter to & from Clarksville

Clarksville sits on the Cumberland River just south of the Kentucky line, and its fortunes are tied closely to Fort Campbell, home of the 101st Airborne Division, which straddles the state border to the north. The city has grown rapidly to become the fifth-largest in Tennessee, and its economy now includes large manufacturing plants, including LG Electronics’ washing machine factory and a Hankook tire plant, along with healthcare, logistics and Austin Peay State University. Military families, defense contractors and veterans make up a significant part of the community.

Clarksville is about an hour northwest of Nashville, and Outlaw Field, the city’s regional airport, sits just north of downtown, giving defense and business travelers a direct way in without the drive from Nashville’s airport. Families visiting soldiers at Fort Campbell or attending a graduation can arrive on their own schedule. The city’s riverfront, historic downtown and Austin Peay campus have been revitalized, and nearby attractions include Dunbar Cave State Park, the Fort Defiance Civil War site, Fort Donelson National Battlefield in Dover and the lakes and wildlife of Land Between the Lakes about an hour to the west.
