Private charter to & from Johnson City

Johnson City is the largest city in Tennessee’s Tri-Cities region, a mountain metro area shared with Kingsport and Bristol. East Tennessee State University, with its medical and pharmacy schools, is the city’s anchor institution, and Ballad Health, the region’s largest health system, is headquartered here. Healthcare, education, manufacturing and outdoor recreation make up much of the economy, and the city’s downtown has seen a revival of breweries, restaurants and live music venues near Founders Park.

Tri-Cities Airport sits between Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol, and flying private makes it easy for physicians, university visitors and business travelers to reach the region without a long connection. The surrounding mountains are a big draw: Roan Mountain’s rhododendron gardens and Appalachian Trail balds, Watauga Lake and the Tweetsie Trail, a rail-trail between Johnson City and Elizabethton, are all close by. Jonesborough, Tennessee’s oldest town, is just ten minutes west and hosts the National Storytelling Festival each October, and the Gray Fossil Site on the city’s edge has turned up a remarkable trove of ancient animals.
